Daniel joined the Mile End Institute in 2015 as a Research Fellow. He is currently working on the Institute's research project analysing proposals for introducing English Votes for English Laws in the Commons.
Prior to joining the Mile End Institute, Daniel worked for a number of years as a researcher at the Constitution Unit, UCL, where he remains an associate staff member. His research at UCL focused on the Westminster parliament, and in particular its influence on government policy. Since 2013, Daniel has also been working on a PhD at Queen Mary, analysing the strategies and impacts of religious pressure groups in the British policymaking process.
