The Mile End Institute is pleased to be a founding member of an important new network hosted by the Centre for Science and Policy at Cambridge University.
The CSaP Policy Fellowships Affiliate Network is a new affiliation scheme with higher education institutions across the UK.
The network will open CSaP Policy Fellows' access to researchers at the Mile End Institute and the wider QMUL academic community.
It will also allow Mile End Institute researchers to engage with members of CSaP's network of over 200 Policy Fellows from industry, the third sector, and government – at local, national, and European levels.
The Mile End Institute, along with Public Policy@Southampton are the first members of this network which will be piloted in 2016.
The Centre for Science and Policy’s mission is to improve the use of expertise and evidence in public policy, delivered through a unique network of academics and policy makers.
CSaP’s distinctive approach is based on addressing the questions which policy makers identify, and on building relationships characterised by mutual understanding, respect and trust.
