The 1981 Uprisings at 35 Criminal Justice, Community and the State

This one day conference will bring community groups, policy makers and academics together to reflect on the 35th anniversary of the Scarman Report, authored in response to the inner-city uprisings of 1981.

Time: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Venue: Peoples Palace, Lecture Theatre 1, Mile End Campus QMUL

 

Join us as we bring the story up to date and look ahead to the future of community struggles, criminal justice and the state in Brexit Britain.
